The Kunsthalle Bremen media guide offers access to masterpieces of art history for adults or art stories for children to listen to and read along on their smartphone. Visitors can find out more about the works, stories and artists in the collection and current special exhibitions.
There are various inclusive offers for the permanent exhibition “Remix”, some of which can be used in combination with on-site offers in the Kunsthalle. For people with visual impairments and blind people, the audio guide (with or without a tactile floor guidance system) takes you to fifteen stations in the permanent exhibition. A video guide in German sign language on selected works and topics was produced for deaf people. In addition to German, an audio guide in simple language is also available in Arabic, English, French and Russian.
Simple user guidance and a visual interface enable intuitive use of the media guide. Reducing interactions to a minimum ensures that using the web app does not distract from the art experience, but instead provides visitors with exciting stories and in-depth background knowledge about the works.
