Philips Lighting | Innovation projects
Innovation projects are part of a broad strategy for Philips to gain a stronger position amongst architects as decision makers. Instead of initiating communication “for” architects we have developed ways to communicate “with” architects.
We invite regulary international renowned architects and product designers to think with us about new possibilities to use lighting in an architectural space and subsequently develop concrete ideas as an inspiration for product development as well as the international architectural community.
In a later stage the results are published in books and magazines.
Collaborations include projects with Zaha Hadid Studios (London), James Irvine (Milano), Stürm und Wolf (Zürich), Marti Guixé (Barcelona), graft (Berlin) and many others ...
